Logo and packaging for Basia’s first album

It was important to establish a connection between the singer and her music so I could use it to create a visual identity.

I chose to go with an image of a rosy red apple as it represents that this is Basia’s first album and she is just starting her career and an apple has a rustic feel about it, which is the same as a lot of folk music like Basia’s. The apple is also know as an item of temptation so I hoped that this would help to creates interest in the product.

For a typographic solution of her name I took the first letter from her first and last name and combined them to form an iconic double B, as I feel that typography is best when it is kept simple.
